Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - Last week Louis Harrod and Ray Whetstone were inducted into the 2014 Allen County Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Doctor Louis Harrod was a practicing veterinarian for thirty-four years- and was seen as the primary resource for large animal health treatment and disease prevention in Allen County.

Ray Whetstone was a 4th generation farmer with a career spanning over fifty years- and was widely recognized as an innovator- forward thinker- life long learner and a researcher.

Both inductees reflect the award’s purpose of honoring and giving public recognition to those who brought distinction to themselves- made contributions to their professions- and was involved in the community.
