The Route 1 grand opening Thursday June 25th, features a concert by The Platters, after that it will be movie nights and more. They have the room for it too, Kowloon has that giant parking lot with the Tiki Bar attached. An outdoor dining area has been set up with umbrella-covered tables, alongside a turf area where guests can bring their own blankets and lawn chairs. The drive-in theater section will feature a a 22-foot high, 40-foot wide movie screen, and, AND, you can order off the regular menu!
The first movie will be the Steven Spielberg classic, "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" on Tuesday June 30th. The parking lot for the movie screening opens at 7 p.m. with showtime at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $20 per parking spot and $20 per table on the turf.
