IHOP Is Serving Up It’s Highest Calorie Breakfast Platter Ever

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but if you eat IHOP’s new breakfast platter, it may be the only thing you need to eat all day. That’s because the chain’s latest menu addition is theirBig Farmhouse BreakFEASTand it really is a monster of a meal.

We’re talking four sausages (two smoked links and two pork sausages), two pieces of ham, and two pieces of bacon, plus two eggs and sides of hashbrowns, buttermilk pancakes and toast!

  • Calorie counts vary depending on how you like your eggs and what kind of toast you order, but the option with the least calories - which comes with poached eggs and sourdough toast - clocks in at 1,720 calories!
  • Swap the eggs for scrambled and the toast for whole wheat and you’re looking at 1,940 calories, which is just 60 shy of the 2,000 daily calorie benchmark!

To compare, a standard pancake combo at IHOP only has 740 calories and the next biggest menu item, the Country Fried Steak and Eggs has a range of 1490 to 1700 calories. So try the Big Farmhouse BreakFEAST if you dare, but prepare to be in a food coma if you finish it.
